ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Regional Manager for NSW, ACT & QLD, the NSW State Sales Manager will drive the growth and development of the NSW / ACT sales team maximising the growth of our sales and customer base throughout NSW in line with the organization’s strategic plans and through identified departmental strategies and processes.

 

WHAT'S INVOLVED:

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Actively leading and participating in the Sales Process;
  • Achieving Sales revenue in line with budget;
  • Actively seeking out new customers to grow the client base;
  • Working with the current Dealer base to maximize all possible opportunities;
  • Maintaining and growing profit margins in line with company guidelines;
  • Providing and maintaining an environment that facilitates customer retention;
  • Planning and directing the activities of the Sales team, ensuring staff are motivated to attain the Sales targets and KPIs; and
  • Ensuring the retention, recruitment, and ongoing development of staff.

 

ABOUT YOU:

There are a few essential tools you will need under your belt to be successful in this role:

  • 10+ years of demonstrated sales success in HVAC or related industries
  • 3+ years sales leadership experience
  • Undergraduate degree in business or equivalent, is desirable
  • Knowledge of current Sales practices and processes
  • Outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • A technical aptitude – mechanical & electronics
  • Extensive coaching experience across wide range of sales people skill set
